The "Power of 2" is a joint member campaign. Members who join both the chapter and the National organization get a reduction in rate from $199 to $169 for the national society’s yearly dues. The offer is good until 12/31/11.
There is also a Chapter Incentive Program, or ChIP. If you, as a GDASTD member, purchase anything from ASTD National, (not just memberships, but books, Infoline, conferences, anything) use our code 5014 and the chapter will get a financial incentive from National. Again, be sure to include this Chapter Code when joining or purchasing materials!
